How to Share Interviews on Facebook

#ProspectInterviewPromotion :)

The following is a step-by-step guide for sharing your Prospect Interviews®. Sharing your interviews on social media is one of the best ways to increase your online presence as the Local Leader for your community.

Sharing your Interviews from Parkbench onto Facebook

  • To share your interviews from your Parkbench onto Facebook, all you have to do is:
  • Click the interview you want to share
  • Click the Facebook icon on the left hand side of your screen
  • Select where within that social media platform you want to share it
  • Write your verbiage
  • POST!

Things to think about:

  • When you complete and publish an interview, having an idea of where you want to share it online should be in the back of your head
  • Facebook groups you’ve joined
  • LinkedIn Groups
  • Other groups: Reddit, Nextdoor, Local blogs / online forums
  • Which of these groups would be ideal for the interview being published
  • Not every group on Facebook / LinkedIn would be applicable for your interview to be posted into
  • Think about this:  You wouldn’t post an interview with me, the café owner, into a Facebook group about your areas music and artistry scene

Facebook

  • Do a quick search on Facebook – type in your area, and then click ‘groups’ once you’re on the results page
  • Pro-Tip: If you see a group you think might be awesome, open it in another tab so that you don’t lose your place on the group results page
  • If you’re finding little results, or you feel there may be some more hidden gems out there, do a keyword search for some of your surrounding areas / communities – sometimes more applicable groups will show up, giving you more results
  • Your county, state, particular businesses, a realm of business (photography, construction, etc.)

Joining and Managing Facebook Groups

  • When you ask to join the group, message the admin and ask for permission to post
  • Also take the opportunity to ask the admin to be interviewed for the site
  • Add a call to action to the end of your posts: “If you’d like to be featured, comment or DM me ☺”
  • Ask the business when they post their interview to create and place their own call to action

More things to think about:

  • Sharing your interviews on social media is also a great way of adding another piece of value to the interviewee. Being able to reach back out to them and say:
  • Hey {Name},

Just wanted to reach out and say thanks again for allowing me to learn the story         of {business name}. I had such a great time learning about everything!

Also, I shared the interview onto a local Facebook group and it got {insert                     traction - number of likes, shares etc.}.

Hope to hear from you soon and let me know if you need anything!”

  • When you have an arsenal of Facebook groups at your disposal to utilize, the sharing of your interviews becomes easier and easier
  • Consistently sharing out content to Facebook, and any other social media platform for that matter, will increase your ‘brand reputation’ online
  • The more and more people see your face, your content, your brand, the quicker they are to remember you and think of you.
