How to Create an Intro and Outro for your Interviews

How to Create an Intro and Outro for your Interviews

Having your intro and outro written and organized before your interview can ensure you come across clear and consise,  set the right tone for the interview, and wrap things up smoothly. Here's the points we recommend including:

Intro:

  • Who you are and what you do, including your name, position, and brokerage.
  • Who your interviewee is and what they do, again including their name, position, and business name.
  • Finally, add in something great about your interviewee, whether that's an achievement they've had in business, or something that sets them apart.

Here's a simple script to follow:

"Hey everyone, thanks for tuning in. I'm (full name), Real Estate Agent with (brokerage name), and today I'm here with (interviewee name), (position) at (business name). (Business name) is (achievement or reason why they're amazing). Thanks for joining me, (interviewee name)."

Outro:

  • Reminder of who you are and what you do, including your name, position, and brokerage.
  • Encourage your viewers to go to your site my mentioning the URL
  • Include a call to action to encourage other business owners to reach out to you to be featured.

Here's a simple script to follow:

"Thanks for watching, once again I'm (full name), Real Estate Agent with (brokerage name). Be sure to check out our local community website at parkbench.com/(area name), and if you have a business and want to be featured, reach out to me today!"
